    The Ten Commandments[God's Constitution]

Sunday, January 6, 2008, 09:21 PM CST [Sermons]

I will do all ten commandments which are the first set of laws that I live my life by over anything else.
The ten laws were given by God as guidelines for daily living. They are often called the Decalogue, from the Greek which means ten words.

Although God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses at Mount Sinai more than 3,000 years ago, they are still relevant today.

They have a abiding significance, for God's character is unchangeable.

Jesus placed these laws on a higher plane by demanding the spiritual aspect as well as the legal.

Jesus placed the eternal stamp of approval by saying the following words

5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

    Matthew 5:17-19 KJV

God never intended for the Ten Commandments to be a set of regulations to receive salvation his favor was already granted to his chosen people.

    4:37 And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

    Deuteronomy 4:37 KJV

God even prefaced the Ten Commandments with a reminder of his deliverance

20:2 I [am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

    Exodus 20:2 KJV

The Ten Commandments are still relevant today.

The world desperately needs to see the name and character of God displayed in the lives of the Christians who still take his word seriously.

These commandments along with the teachings of Christ are still the best guidelines for daily living.

1 You shall have no other gods before me.Ex 20:3

Since God's character forms the basis of the covenant with his people ,he demands total loyalty.

when the intent of the heart is to put God first, a person outward actions will reveal it.

Then others will see what God's character is like through his people.

What do we put ahead of God?

wealth, family, jobs, the American dream or our own ambitions for Jesus said "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all else will follow".

My Wish For The New Year

Monday, December 31, 2007, 01:23 PM CST [Sermons]

    Wish for the New Year
Body: My Friend: I am asking you the most important question of life. Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?

God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Ye must be born again."

In the Bible God gives us the plan of how to be born again which means to be saved. His plan is simple! You can be saved today. How?

First, my friend, you must realize you are a sinner. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. "For the wages [payment] of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in Hell.

" . . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).

But God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place. " . . . He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus had to shed His blood and die. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood" (Lev. 17:11). " . . . without shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]" (Hebrews 9:22).

" . . . God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Although we cannot understand how, God said my sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our place. He became our substitute. It is true. God cannot lie.

My friend, "God . . . commandeth all men everywhere to repent" (Acts 17:30). This repentance is a change of mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Jesus did for us on the Cross.

In Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas: " . . . 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' And they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved . . . .' "

Simply believe on Him as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and whom God resurrected. His resurrection powerfully assures that the believer can claim everlasting life when Jesus is received as Savior.

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12).

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13).

Whosoever includes you. Shall be saved means not maybe, nor can, but shall be saved.

Surely, you realize you are a sinner. Right now, wherever you are, repenting, lift your heart to God in prayer.

In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: "God be merciful to me a sinner." Just pray: "Oh God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen."

Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it!

God's simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith.

You say, "Surely, it cannot be that simple." Yes, that simple! It is scriptural. It is God's plan. My friend, believe on Jesus and receive Him as Savior today.

If His plan is not perfectly clear, read this tract over and over, without laying it down, until you understand it. Your soul is worth more than all the world.

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36).

Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you miss Heaven and lose all. Please! Let God save you this very moment.

God's power will save you, keep you saved, and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Do not trust your feelings. They change. Stand on God's promises. They never change. After you are saved, there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth:

Pray -- you talk to God.

Read your Bible -- God talks to you.

Witness -- you talk for God.

AFTER you are saved, you should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay. "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord . . . ." (2 Timothy 1:8).

Please note that you DON'T have to be baptized to go to Heaven. It is a step of obedience for the believer.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess [testify of] Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32

    Sins , Customs and Traditions

Monday, December 17, 2007, 08:06 AM CST [Sermons]

I keep hearing people Christians and non Christians accuse people of sin in the traditions or customs that they keep or even the convictions that they have.

The body of Christ does not need no more division or in this case you could call it a amputation of the body because it cuts some people off from the body totally.

5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 5:21 Envying, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

    Galatians 5:18-26 KJV

These are the direct sins listed by Paul given to him by Jesus himself on if done and forgiveness is not received , they will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

In some countries or even churches here is not proper for a woman to go in slacks or to have her head uncovered, that is a custom not a sin. In some churches the men and women have to sit on separate sides of the church.

For a woman to be silent in church is a tradition not a sin.

Kinds of music is custom or tradition ,not a sin.

Some people are convicted to not celebrate Christmas or Easter in the worldly sense that is fine if they are convicted by it ,whether you keep Jewish food laws or not that is conviction.

The body does not need anymore separation just because one church does it just a little bit different than another one does.

If you have Jewish friends to take out to dinner don't take them to a pork barbecue joint respect their convictions not condemn them for it.

If you go to visit a friends church adhere to their customs out of respect for the Father of us all.

My convictions are mine and mine alone on things that I do or won't do, or places I go or don't go, or how I worship.

My convictions are against drinking and smoking and porn and homosexuals who won't turn from the lust of the flesh.

The world may do this and not feel convicted by the Holy Spirit but I do.

[This comes from a man who used to drink a case of beer a day and 2 or 3 pints of Jack on the weekend for 15 or so years and who used to watch porn on a regular basis.]

I received the Holy Spirit now it is wrong for me.

My children will be raised by these same convictions till they are old enough to understand.

When they grow up, if they develop their own convictions about these or other things that is fine by me.

I know of a custom in Africa where to become a man of the tribe you must eat your pet dog imagine doing that.

To try to bring everybody into our customs when we bring them into Christ is wrong.

As long as their traditions or customs do not go against the scripture on what is a sin [which you can receive forgiveness for] there is nothing wrong with it.

The "body" of Christ is slowly falling apart , it needs to be mended before the "Head" which is Jesus Christ comes back for his bride.

If a person wants to keep traditions and customs that is not a sin let them.

I am studying the authentic Jewish Passover to try to have it instead of the Easter tradition that I am used to I will invite my family or friends , but I will not force it upon them.

6:24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 6:25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 6:26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

    The Greatest Birth Ever

Saturday, December 15, 2007, 01:36 PM CST [Sermons]

1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 1:3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 1:4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife [was] of the daughters of Aaron, and her name [was] Elisabeth. 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 1:7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were [now] well stricken in years. 1:8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course, 1:9 According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 1:10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. 1:11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 1:12 And when Zacharias saw [him], he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 1:14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. 1:16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. 1:18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. 1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 1:20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. 1:21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple. 1:22 And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless. 1:23 And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house. 1:24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, 1:25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on [me], to take away my reproach among men. 1:26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary. 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee: blessed [art] thou among women. 1:29 And when she saw [him], she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. 1:39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; 1:40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 1:42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed [art] thou among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of thy womb. 1:43 And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 1:44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 1:45 And blessed [is] she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 1:49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy [is] his name. 1:50 And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation. 1:51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 1:52 He hath put down the mighty from [their] seats, and exalted them of low degree. 1:53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. 1:54 He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of [his] mercy; 1:55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. 1:56 And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house. 1:57 Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son. 1:58 And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her. 1:59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. 1:60 And his mother answered and said, Not [so]; but he shall be called John. 1:61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name. 1:62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called. 1:63 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all. 1:64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue [loosed], and he spake, and praised God. 1:65 And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea. 1:66 And all they that heard [them] laid [them] up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him. 1:67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 1:68 Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 1:69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 1:70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 1:71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 1:72 To perform the mercy [promised] to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 1:73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 1:74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 1:78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. 1:80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel. 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2:2 ([And] this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 2:3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 2:5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 2:6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 2:12 And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 2:16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 2:17 And when they had seen [it], they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 2:18 And all they that heard [it] wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 2:19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered [them] in her heart. 2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. 2:21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. 2:22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present [him] to the Lord; 2:23 (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) 2:24 And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name [was] Simeon; and the same man [was] just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. 2:27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, 2:28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, 2:29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: 2:30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, 2:31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; 2:32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. 2:33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. 2:34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this [child] is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; 2:35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. 2:36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 2:37 And she [was] a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served [God] with fastings and prayers night and day. 2:38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. 2:39 And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. 2:41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 2:42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 2:43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not [of it]. 2:44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among [their] kinsfolk and acquaintance. 2:45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 2:47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 2:48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? 2:50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 2:51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
    Luke 1:1-2:52 KJV

As we celebrate the "Birth of the Saviour of all mankind", go back and remember the story that you were read as a child.

Remember how you loved it then and if you have forgotten it make a renewal of your faith for the only things you "Must" believe to recieve salvation is that

Jesus was born of a virgin.

He was baptized by John to take away the sins of the world

1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

    John 1:29 KJV

That he died on the cross to pay for our sins.

That he rose on the third day and ascended to the right hand of God to be our advocate

2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

    1 John 2:1 KJV

We must put our faith in him and him only because we can do nothing to earn our way into heaven only by grace and grace alone.

Any other things that churches claim is essential for salvation , it is only a man - made doctrine the our baptism won't get you there only the baptism of Jesus our good deeds won't or our good intentions

4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

    Acts 4:12 KJV

This says it all for me, if you profess the name of Jesus you will turn from your sins.

These so called men of God who have gotten away from the blood and the cross and only teach prosperity and "cotton candy " sermons are leading the children down the wide road.

A certain pastor who you will know by now has been declared the "poster boy"of the Christian faith to take the place of Billy Graham.

He is in the forefront of this false doctine, for Jesus Christ talked of Hell more than he did Heaven.

Thank God for men like T.D Jakes and Perry Stone And John Haggee and others who preach the true message of God

Running the Devil Out of Your Temple

Saturday, December 1, 2007, 01:43 PM CST [Sermons]

3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: [is] not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
    Zechariah 3:1-3 KJV

God was and is always protective over his temple so you wonder how Satan got into it, notice the "filthy garments" that Joshua had on. Uncleanness will always let Satan in. Lets take a look at how particular God is on his Temple and most of all his high priest then and now.

4:16 Lest ye corrupt [yourselves], and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 4:17 The likeness of any beast that [is] on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that filth in the air, 4:18 The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that [is] in the waters beneath the earth: 4:19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

    Deuteronomy 4:16-19 KJV

God did not want anything that would take away from his presence , some churches today have everything but God in the sanctuary. If you are going to worship Jesus that, is what is done in the sanctuary not work , sports or what is worse than that ,talking about somebody else.

6:1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which [is] the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD. 6:2 And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof [was] threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty [cubits], and the height thereof thirty cubits. 6:3 And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits [was] the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; [and] ten cubits [was] the breadth thereof before the house. 6:4 And for the house he made windows of narrow lights. 6:5 And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, [against] the walls of the house round about, [both] of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about: 6:6 The nethermost chamber [was] five cubits broad, and the middle [was] six cubits broad, and the third [was] seven cubits broad: for without [in the wall] of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that [the beams] should not be fastened in the walls of the house. 6:7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor Axe [nor] any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.

    1 Kings 6:1-7 KJV

The "iron tool" always meant warfare in the Old Covenant in today's terms don't get into arguments or disagreements in the "House of the Lord".

29:16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse [it], and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took [it], to carry [it] out abroad into the brook Kidron. 29:17 Now they began on the first [day] of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

    2 Chronicles 29:16-17 KJV

Always keep the "House of the Lord clean for it is a representation of the Lord himself.

The furniture in the Temple always had to have special care the shew bread had to be changed out on a regular basis the Menorah always had to have fresh oil the incense had to be made just right the altar had to be cleaned constantly for God is Holy. Here are the verses to back this up.

16:14 And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle [it] with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

    Leviticus 16:14 KJV

Blood had a major impact in these days it had to be cleaned up , if you step out of God's will get back under the blood repent and become clean again.

6:32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 6:34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

    John 6:32-34 KJV

The bread had to changed weekly in the temple after new bread was made the priest eat the old bread . The bread is the word of God . Chew and swallow what you get in the House of God until you come together again then receive a fresh word , don't rely on the same word or bread all the time.

4:3 From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

    Numbers 4:3 KJV

This was for the Levities so that they would not get stagnant in their duties ,churches today need to follow suit and not leave the same ones in the same roles constantly.

20:10 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates:

    Exodus 20:10 KJV

Even in the busy schedule of a pastor, preacher or whatever the title there was be rest to spend time with God in rest comes the greatest revelation possible.

7:31 And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.

    Leviticus 7:31 JV

A man of God needs to maintain a healthy diet to carry out God's work.

4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

    Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV

This is the main job of the pastor, to lead his sheep , the flock needs to take on the burdens on the upkeep of the church and the door to door and the other tasks of doing God's work.

A pastor needs to get a fresh revelation as the as the oil had to be changed in the Temple for the old oil causes uncleanness as does staying in the same revelation does.

Most of all God was and always be picky about those who do his work such as pastors and preachers and such in the Days of Mose and beyond there were several physical requirements .

    21:18 For whatsoever man [he be] that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, 21:19 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, 21:20 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

    Leviticus 21:18-20 KJV

Pastors of today cannot be "blind"for they must have spiritual vision.

Pastors cannot be "lame for they must walk upright in the world.

They have to use the "senses to discern what is God's word and what is not.

    They cannot have twisted attitudes.

They have to have "spiritual growth"

They have to have good eyes to receive a revelation from God.

They have to be pure and clean

They have to reproduce people in Christ, to be behind the pulpit for years and not to lead one person to Christ ,something is wrong.

We know of the wrath of God in the Old Testament it is documented all the way through , people of today say well "WE are under grace" here is some of the grace we are under.

5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 5:2 And kept back [part] of the price, his wife also being privy [to it], and brought a certain part, and laid [it] at the apostles' feet. 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the price of the land? 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 5:6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried [him] out, and buried [him]. 5:7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 5:8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband [are] at the door, and shall carry thee out. 5:10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying [her] forth, buried [her] by her husband.

    Acts 5:1-10 KJV

8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

    Acts 8:18-20 KJV

5:1 It is reported commonly [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. 5:2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, [concerning] him that hath so done this deed, 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

    1 Corinthians 5:1-5 KJV

    and in the last days

2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 2:25 But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come.

    Revelation 2:20-25 KJV

Now there is some grace for you!

Satan wants leadership that is why he attacked David and went after Jesus himself

Churches all around have pastors who cause scandals in the "Kingdom of God", but because they are well liked they are kept in their positions. I f they get back under the blood and repent and resolve their sins with God, great. Several men of God have slipped up and been restored to greatness. If they don't feel guilt and continue then they need to be kicked out before the whole church is lead astray.

In closing if you let uncleanness into "The House Of God" or even in your own house Satan will surely enter and attack.
